I went down Marine Drive in Wellawatte yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised. Marine Drive, aptly named because it ran parallel to the beach, was a hive of festive activity. It was brimming with food stalls and hordes of people chatting, eating, meeting up and so forth. I loved the ambience of this place. Will be going back soon.
