….loved it. His concept of a government in 1984 was unique and unusual. One has to agree that some of what he predicted is happening today. The law having an iron hold on the citizen, no freedom for some , being watched all the time and so on. I loved his writing style and the way he portrayed his emotions, especially towards the end of the book when the government punished him for not blindly following their rules. It gives one the impression that society will continue to ail as it has ailed before. A truly inspiring book, which has to be read again.
